Gary Vaynerchuk is proudly loud and obnoxious.  Normally I wouldn’t listen for more than a few seconds to a guy like Gary but his honesty makes him somewhat likable.  That glimmer of hope is why I spent a little time reading his site and watching some of his videos.  It wasn’t until I watched a video of Gary at a Web 2.0 Expo, lecturing about building a personal brand, that I knew how smart he really was (although he’s dangerously close to Tony Robbins territory with how motivating he is).

Gary essentially begged the audience to quit doing work that they hate.  He asked them to figure out what it is that they really like to do and do it.  Make that the foundation and then figure out how to make money from it.  That said, I’ll be launching a new site in the next couple of months.  Fingers crossed…
